How Does it Work?

Bid4Birds’ interactive action platform allows it to function just like a real-live auction, in which multiple participants bid on items until the highest bid has been made and the item is sold.

For Spectators:

Not interested in making a purchase yet but want to see how it all works? Part of what makes Bid4Birds such a unique and engaging experience is its dynamic nature—which is why we encourage spectators to participate via comments and shares to build excitement. An engaged audience leads to an exciting auction for all!

For Prospective Buyers:

As mentioned, Bid4Birds functions like a real-live auction in the digital space, which means that each of our auction items are sold to the highest bidder. Put plainly, if you have no intention of actually making a purchase, you should not bid! Doing your due diligence before you bid is extremely important, because each time you place a bid you are agreeing to purchase the item at that amount.

In order to bid, you will first need to create a profile and provide us with a payment method (credit or debit card). There is an auction fee of 5% of the purchase price (up to $5,000) on aircraft purchases and 8% on memorabilia, parts and avionics purchases. Your card will only be charged an auction fee if you are the highest bidder and reserve is met.

For Sellers:

We make selling simple with 3 different listing packages: Platinum Wings, Gold Wings or Silver Wings (as well as our flat-rate memorabilia/parts option). Simply choose the package that best fits your needs and submit your aircraft—from there, our curating team will review your submission and be in touch to assist with next steps.

We encourage sellers to be active throughout the auction, addressing any questions bidders may have and engaging in discussion. In doing so, please keep in mind that honesty and accuracy in your responses is extremely important in maintaining the integrity of the platform.

Post-Auction

The Bid4Birds is here to answer any questions or requests you may have to ensure an easy and pleasant purchasing experience! Once the auction is over, our team will connect the buyer and seller to finalize the deal and figure out logistics.

If the reserve is not met we will reach out to the highest bidder and try to negotiate a fair deal for both parties.

If the buyer backs out we will spilt our commission with the seller.
